Gavin Dykes is Co-founder and Director of Education Fast Forward. Gavin works with governments, agencies, major corporations and institutions across the world on education policy and strategy. His current roles include Program Director for the Education World Forum, Program Director for the Asian Summit on Education and Skills, and Senior Director of International Relations for the New Media Consortium. He was also the first Visiting Scholar for the Quaglia Institute for Student Aspirations. Gavin's key interests include development of learner voice and building learning around student aspirations, and building practice, strategies and policies that encourage progress in these areas. He believes that collaboration among all education's interested stakeholders can help tune and improve teaching and learning, and provide greater opportunities for success for its students.
Raymond J. McNulty
Raymond J. McNulty is the Dean for the School of Education at Southern New Hampshire University, and is a Senior Fellow to the International Center for Leadership in Education. Ray also served as the Chair of the National Dropout Prevention Network and was recently the Chief Learning Officer for Penn Foster, a global leader in online education. Prior to joining the International Center, he was a senior fellow at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where he worked with leading educators on improving our nation's high schools. Ray is a past president of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD). An educator since 1973, Ray has been a teacher, vice principal, principal, superintendent, and education commissioner. Ray is a presenter at the state, national, and international levels on the need for school systems to accept the challenges that lie ahead.
Elena Nikitina is Vice President of Marketing and Channel Development at Corwin. She came to Corwin with 20 years of experience in the fields of marketing, publishing, and education. Previous to Corwin, Elena was Executive Director of Marketing at SAGE, Corwin's parent company focused on higher education books, journals, and reference works. During her 14 years at SAGE, she had overseen SAGE Journals and Textbooks Marketing programs, as well as the Journals Circulation and Customer Service departments. Elena started her career in education as a teacher of English at a middle school and later became a professor of English. She was also the founding director of an English language school in Russia. Elena holds a graduate degree in education and has an MA in communications and TESL/TEFL certification.
